Set largely in a traditional Irish pub three men attempt to hammer out an oil deal for a new oil field discovered just of Sligo. The two oilmen's behavour and language mirrors that of oil companies. However there is a silent onlooker and thus the two oilmen expose themselves in total to this catalyst. Needless to say the deal falls through and the oilmen are in deep...Once complete Black Velvet will be shown at as many of the world's film festivals as possible and then eventually sold to television. The proceeds that the film generates will be given to an environment charity.
